Post exam #1 Exam number one was easier than expected for me. I was stressing over it for no reason. Once I got the exam I felt like it came to me for the most part. The exam was nothing like I expected. It was shorter than expected. The easiest part of the exam for me was the second from last page, the page that had all the fill in the blank answers. The hardest part of the exam for me was the definitions in a complete sentence. It was not the complete sentence that made it hard for me it was defining words. Is America in turmoil? President Trump has a limited filter. His twitter “war” (which could lead to a nuclear war). Trump calls North Korea’s leader Kim Jung Un a “madman”. In response Un calls trump a “dotard” which is “a person, especially an old person, exhibiting a decline in mental faculties; a weak-minded or foolish person. ” According to dictionary.com. The way Charles Blow’s language changes throughout the article is a representation of how professional writers will use a certain type of word and change it to something else in the passage. For example in Charles Bow’s article the title says “held at gunpoint”, in the subheading he uses the word “detained”, later in the passage he states that his son was “accosted” by a campus police. Charles Blow states that later in the...
